This is one of the most popular topic in the spiritual community and one of the most important for us, since it is linked to higher states of consciousness. The more we are conscious, the more we understand how the universe works, what is our place within it and our real nature. The pineal gland is a gland placed inside our brain. The word emanates from the Latin “pinea”, which means pinecone. Indeed the pinecone is a symbol in many cultures around the world, used by ancient civilizations such as the Sumerian, Roman andGreek. This was well known to ancient Egyptians as well. The eye of Horus is the vertical section of a human brain, in it’s center the pineal gland. It is also found on top of the pope’s staff and theVatican’s “Court of the Pine Cone.”

This gland produces melatonin and serotonin. Melatonin is a hormone that is produced when the Sun goes down. As it is released in the blood, we begin to feel sleepy. It regulates the cycles of sleep and it helps to maintain the circadian rhythms (our biological processes in a time span of 24h). Serotonin, instead, is a neurotransmitter.
Another important thing to mention is the production of the DMT. It is a molecule produced by the pineal gland that has huge psychedelic effects, like a drug, but is is something that our body produces naturally. During the R.E.M. sleep, the pineal produces heavy quantity of DMT and someone has linked this to our dream world. Dr. Rick Strassman wrote the book “DMT.the spirit molecule”, and he conduced all of his studies in the University of New Mexico . DMT is what is believed to boost our capacity to have visions through our third eye, which is the energy center in the middle of our eyebrows. Each chakra is linked to a body gland and it regulates it’s functioning, along with other mechanisms of the body. The third eye is linked to the pineal gland! The vertical section of the brain is the exact match, as stated before, to the Eye of Horus… an eye indeed. Even more important than this, there are scientifical evidences that show us that the pineal gland is, literally, an eye! As reported by the National Center of Biotechnology Information “It is apparent that several relationships exist between the pineal gland and retina. The similarities in development and morphology have been obvious for many years. A recent resurgence of interest in this field has led to a further understanding of many functional similarities between these two organs. A notable feature of the pineal gland and retina is their common ability to synthesize the indolamine hormone, melatonin. Many investigators suspect that the cyclic rhythm of retinal melatonin synthesis may be related to other cyclic events which normally occur in the retina.” According to Dr. David Klein “”The photoreceptors of the retina strongly resemble the cells of the pineal gland. It even has vitreous fluid in it like the eye does.”” Outside of mainstream science they are beginning even to notice that rods and cones are present within the gland itself, which is the same kind of structures you find in the .
Moreover we can even say that Rene Descartes, a French philosopher, called the pinecone shaped gland “the seat of the soul.” Jesus in Matthew 6-22 says ““The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye BE SINGLE, thy whole body shall be full of light.”” And indeed the pineal gland is photosensitive; it responds to sunlight. Light is information, and the third eye allows the being to access higher data/dimensions. The one eye (“thine eye be single”) is the symbol of perceprion beyond duality, which is linked to our two eyes.

This part of the body is very sensitive to chemicals, and it responds to substances, mainly fluoride, which, when present in the body, is absorbed by the pineal gland. Here calcium phosphate crystals are formed, and this is the main cause of calcification.
First step is to prevent further calcification. Since fluoride is the main problem, you want to avoid it. Where is contained?

Tap water. It is not healthy natural water at all. The elite know very well that a calcified pineal gland means a smaller perception of reality and a lower access to our higher consciousness. It is easier to keep people asleep and treat them like sheeps, if you want to control them. For this reason fluoride is added to tap water, and you can find it on the label, under the false guise of preventing tooth decay. But this substance is well known for it’s toxic effects on the body at large and on the devastating effects on our pineal gland. Do not drink tap water and try to use sink water, or, even better, consider to buy a purification/filtering system for your house to remove all chemicals. When possible, buy spring water.

Toothpaste. Is the number two source of fluoride. One of the easiest and most important thing to do is to buy an organic fluoride free toothpaste. And now smile!

Soda, energy drinks. This have devastating effects on our bodies as well, since they are filled with chemicals and are very acidic in nature. Many of them contain fluoride too. Better to add a slice of lemon to a glass of water then to drink one of this things.

Calcium supplements/calcium in foods. Always read the ingredient list as this too is one of the causes of an unhealthy pineal gland.

Mercury. We are not talking about retrogrades. Ok, no jokes. If you have mercury tooth fillings consider removing them. Mercury is poisonous in nature, and we are so smart to put it in our mouth every day! Bad move. It is a toxic substance that shouldn’t be in the body at all. Also recent studies proved the bad effects vaccines have on us. Another method of control and they also contain mercury.

Sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco. This are toxic substances for the body because of their Ph. The more a food is acidic in nature, the more affects the body in a negative way. Same goes for food. White sugar, as well as table salt, is filled with chemicals. For example sulfur is used to whiten the sugar. Better to buy organic brown sugar and avoid all processed sweets, candies etc. This substances are an impediment for the energy to flow correctly in your body. As if it is not enough, they lower your consciousness and they keep you asleep. Ok I m not say that is a sin to drink a glass of wine once in a while but it shouldn’t be and habit, like smoking and consuming coffee.

Pesticides. All non organic foods contain an amount of pesticides, and fertilizers. They are, of course, chemicals that enter your body and mess the whole thing. They also have less nutrients and a lower energy content/frequency than organic food. Same goes for all the junk/processed “foods.”

Change your diet. Having a more plant based diet alkalizes your body and it boosts your health. You will experience more clarity, you will feel lighter. Meat as well is a very acidic substance, so if you avoid it, you avoid even all the stuffed negative energy that the animal experienced when it was butchered and that is still contained in it’s flesh. Electronics. When you sleep, and since we are talking about something that regulates your sleep patterns, stay away from your phone because it’s radiation, as well as that of all the electronics, affects negatively our physical body and, even more, our energy vessel. Do not use Wi-Fi too often.

Drugs. All the synthetic drugs (eroin, cocaine) have devastating effects on the human being, on all levels. They are addictive substances that shut down our higher awareness.

Now that you know how to prevent, let’s see how to remove the existent calcification. As always food is key: you are what you eat.

Superfoods rich in chlorophyll. Chlorella, spirulina, wheatgrass to name a few. They are filled with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Their effects on our bodies are amazing: they help us to detoxify from heavy metals and unhealthy substances and also they improve the immune system. Read this post to know more about chlorella.

Apple cider vinegar. This is a good aliment that aids in the process of decalcification. It contains the malic acid, which is a metal detoxifier. It is known that helps the body to remove aluminum.
Citric acid. It is contained in lemons. Do not be deceived by the taste: lemons are one of the most alkaline foods on planet Earth! Take a big glass of lemon juice, mixed with water, once a day for a month. This will help your body to get rid of toxins.

Garlic. In ancient times garlic was so precious, that it has been used even as a tool of great value in barter. It doesn’t surprises indeed, that has the same effects of antibiotics and is able to dissolve calcium. Consume this daily.

Raw cacao. It is known to be good at stimulating your pineal gland. Also is a great antioxidant.

Oregano oil and Neem extract. This two foods have an antibiotic effect on the nanobacteria that create calcium shells around themselves in the pineal gland.

Iodine. Most of us have a iodine deficiency in the body even if this is very important. Foods like broccoli, spinach, seaweed have an high content of this minerals. As stated byDr. Edward Group “Fluoride from your tap water settles into the pineal gland. Iodine is essential to every organ of the body, but modern iodine deficiencies leave room for iodine’s elemental cousin, fluoride, to take its place. The human body has no use for fluoride so the body isolates it in a calcium husk. Increase your iodine intake and you’al reduce the effect of fluoride on all of your organs. You can get it from organic dietary sources like spinach, broccoli, seaweed, and fish. You can also supplement with iodine, although I recommend nascent iodine for the best results.”

Embrace the darkness. Sleeping in complete darkness activates the production of melatonin and this, in turn, helps to decalcify the pineal gland.

Finally, let’s see how to activate the pineal gland and the third eye!

Embrace the light. Sungazing! An ancient technique (2000 years ago) from India. When you stare at the Sun, you are energizing the body and, through sungazing, you can raise your frequency really fast. This in turns stimulates the pineal gland, which is photosensitive. Light is the best tool you have. Try to gaze at the Sun at sunset or dawn, when the intensity of the light is lower. As you open your brow center more and more you will see in other dimensions literally.

Energy work. Learn to use the universal life force energy. You can start by making simple visualizations. For example: see a bright sphere of white/indigo light in your eyebrows area. See it pulsating, spinning and energizing you deeply. Alternatively, visualize a big diamond light sphere above your head; then bring a beam of light from there, first in your crown, then in your pineal gland. See it illuminating and becoming free from toxins. The best thing to do is to learn Reiki or other energy healing techniques. Tai Chi and Chi Gong are also helpful.

Ayahuasca. This is a medicine used by the Amazon forest shamans. It is a decoction of two plants, nothing else. That is why it is not a drug. It has a powerful effect on the pineal gland and, through this, an high amount of DMT is released. In turn you have visions; visions are what allows you to see deeply into reality. You can “see through” and something that was hidden is revealed. Hallucinations are distorsions of reality, a means to escape from what we don’t want to face. That is the effect drugs have on people. Ayahuasca is known as the “beverage of the warrior” because it will bring you face to face with your fears, unresolved emotional issues etc. It can help to expand your consciousness and integrate unresolved emotions. Also it is known to link you to the data that connects you to your past lives. It has been used by thousands of years by shamans and today it is also used as therapy to help people addicted to drugs, since it doesn’t create dependency.

Binaural beats, tones and frequencies. When we listen to two pure tones with a difference of frequency between them, for example 400hz in the right ear and 430hz in the left ear, we experience an illusion of a third sound called binaural beat. They have a powerful healing effect on us on all levels, they are known to induce expanded levels of consciousness and deep states of meditation really quickly. Listen also to the frequency of the corresponding chakra: 852hz.

Meditate. Learning to meditate, even better if we are in a dark environment, is one of the most effective ways to open your third eye. Meditation is, indeed, the best tool to open both the crown and the brow chakras. There are also hundreds of third eye meditations that you can try. One of my favourite is to light a candle in a dark room and meditate, allowing the light to work through you.

Yoga. In the Yoga tradition, we are taught about the subtle body, or energy body, and of chakras, the connecting points between the nadiis, the energetic pathways. Prana is the universal life force that flows into and through them. Yoga asanas are used to open up the energetic centers, and of course each asana has a specific effect working on a specific chakra. Relaxation techniques like Yoga help us to be more mindful and at peace.

Crystals. Crystals and stones have been used in healing practices for thousands of years all around the world and in many different cultures. Each crystal has, of course, a frequency and a color that are a match for the chakra that we want to treat. Moreover they have particular metaphysical and spiritual proprieties. Some help as a psychic defense, others bring abundance and others to connect with spiritual guides and angels. Try to place a third eye crysta,l for half an hour, every day, between your eyebrows. This works best when used with energy healing.

Chants. Chants are sacred sounds that have an effect on our chakras. The most famous is the “Ohm”, which indeed is that for the third eye, but of course there are several others. When we chant we give to our chakra the possibility to expand and open.

Ask your Higher Self. In meditation, and even during the day, you can ask your Higher Self to activate your third eye. This works best when you have the time to relax, sit back and receive the energy. Surrender to the process and be open.

More about the third eye: the third eye chakra is located between the eyebrows and it has an indigo/purple color. This is the most well known chakra, maybe for the mystery that envelops it and for the psychic abilities that it can grant us when it’s activated. It is indeed associated with clairvoyance, for example. It governs the pineal gland but even the ears, the nose and the eyes. Spiritual awareness, the capacity to see beyond duality, intuition, insight are it’s main functions. When it’s balanced we experience clarity, heightened intelligence, concentration, we are inspired and guided by spirit. Unbalance can lead us to tension, visual problems, headaches, sleeping disorder or lack of concentration. This chakra, like the heart, is associated with forgiveness and when we release our hatred a great energetic shift takes place in this area. Sugilite, Kianite, Sodalite are just a few examples of the variety of crystals aviable.

What I have found out on my journey, is that the correct way to open your third eye is to start with decalcifing your pineal gland. And how do you do that? Change your diet! It is the only and most powerful way to bring long term effects. Indeed meditation once in a while and listening to binaural beats it will not work. It takes effort and dedication; it must be a conscious choice. Moreover now we are living in times of accelerated spiritual expansion and with all the light we are receiving from the Sun and cosmos activating our energy centers can happen faster and with a power never experienced before.
