3/4 Nov 2013 – Solar Eclipse:
This is our last eclipse of the year.. and what a spectacular finish it is ! This eclipse is a ‘Hybrid’ eclipse which means it is both ‘Annular’ in some sections of its path and ‘Total’ in other.
An ‘Annular’ eclipse is whereby the Sun and Moon are exactly in line, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun thus the Sun appears as a very bright ring surrounding the dark disk of the Moon from behind.
A ‘Total’ eclipse is whereby the Moon completely obscures the light of the Sun, allowing the much fainter solar corona to be visible. Thought note, the ‘total’ eclipse aspect only occurs for a brief period of time during the path of the moon’s crossing of the Sun.
Thus a ‘Hybrid Eclipse’ is a very rare event, for at certain points on the surface of Earth it appears as a total eclipse, whereas at other points it appears as annular. As noted by NASA discussing how a Hybrid Eclipse takes place: ‘… this Hybrid Eclipse takes place when the vertex of the Moon’s umbral shadow pierces Earth’s surface at some locations, but falls short of the planet along other sections of the path. The unusual geometry is due to the curvature of Earth’s surface that brings some geographic locations into the umbra while other positions are more distant and enter the antumbral rather than umbral shadow. In most cases, the central path begins annular, changes to total for the middle portion of the track, and reverts back to annular towards the end of the path’.
What potentials do Solar Eclipses bring to us Energetically ?
Solar Eclipse’s create the potential for huge personal and hence planetary transformations. The energy of a Solar Eclipse ‘obscures’ the now or potential future, and allows one to reflect on the past. Not to drag up old energy, or relive painful events or experiences, but rather to positively reassess where you have been and use this knowledge to re-adjust your path moving forward.
What is the specific Energetic Potential of our 3/4 Nov 2013 Solar Eclipse ?
This eclipse is taking place in Scorpio… goodness, this really is going to be a powerful eclipse of transformation. Scorpio is a water sign and it is passionate, emotional and highly psychic. Scorpio is also the ruler of the 8th house and our relationship with sex, our dealings with money, mortgages, taxes etc.. It is a sign of death and birth, transformations, the letting go of old for the new to blossom.
In addition, during this eclipse, Scorpio is conjunct (together with) Saturn, the sign of life lessons, karma, the learning from previous experiences. With Saturn you can flow and breeze through the sometimes unexpected experiences it may bring… or take a more worldly view of growth, potential and awakening.
The combined energy of Solar Eclipse/Saturn/Scorpio provides a powerful synergy of potential.. for radical and deeply insightful views into our finances and money and how we can make a difference to the world.
Whilst this eclipse is extraordinarily powerful, it doesn’t have to be a horrendous experience of loss, despair, struggle and inner-turmoil. You have a choice to experience this eclipse with a heightened or awakened vision of divine potential. Saturn gives you the strength and courage to transcend any obstacles in your path… and jump off that darn cycle that is limiting you from expressing your full potential.
Remember, don’t dwell on those things in your life that you cannot change, but choose to focus on what YOU can do to make a difference in your own life and that of others. This is a time to really ‘BE THE CHANGE’ you wish to see in the world.
I highly recommend you take some time out for yourself at this eclipse to go within, feel and be the deep wisdom of Creation that exists within you and transcend any thoughts, emotions or actions not in alignment with your most cherished and ancient way of beingness.
Where can I view the Eclipse ?
The diagram above shows the path of the eclipse…the dark strip in the center indicates the best locations for viewing the eclipse (Moon moves centrally in front of the Sun). The eclipse is also visible in the areas that are shaded red, but less of the Sun’s disk is obscured. The fainter the red shading the less of the Sun’s disk is covered during the eclipse.
The TOTAL eclipse will be visible from Uganda and the Annual eclipse will be visible from parts of Europe, Asia, Africa, North & South America and parts of the Pacific, Atlantic & Indian Ocean’s.

On the 18 to 20 November 2013, we are in astronomical alignment with the Pleiades.
The Pleiades Star Cluster (also referred to as the 7 sisters) is located in the constellation of Taurus and is approximately 440 light years from Earth (1 light year = 9.5 trillion km)… yet is visible to the naked eye. When our Sun is at Galactic (25, 26, 27) degree of Taurus (conjunct) or Scorpio (opposition), we are in astronomical alignment with the Pleiades. Now this November, after the Full Moon, the Sun in Scorpio is in opposition to Alcyone (brightest star of the Pleiades) in Taurus. Scorpio is the serpent (Asclepius in vedic astrology), the birth canal for channelling and anchoring of the Divine Feminine. The Solar Eclipse earlier in the month and subsequent Alcyone alignment later in the month is the catalyst, accelerator and divine bridge for the birthing the Divine Feminine into collective hearts and conscious minds of humanity. Please Refer to my article on the ‘Birthing of the Divine Feminine’ >>>
On the 28/29 November 2013, C/2012 S1 (Comet ISON), a sun grazing comet, will travel approximately 1.1 million km above the surface of our Sun. During its passage, by late October/early November and then into mid-January 2014 it should be visible to the naked eye.
In October the comet passed by the brightest star in the Leo Constellation Leo called ‘Regulus’, then passed by near Mars… then this month of November will pass by a bright star called ‘Spica’ in the Virgo Constellation as well as Saturn. It will then be close to 1 degree of the Sun on the 28/29 November 2013. Presuming the comet stays intact, it will be visible from the Earth until around mid-January 2014, possibly with an illuminated tail.
This comet, as it moves closer to our Sun, will illuminate the power of the creator from within. Its energy will ripple through our Hearts, reflecting the Light that exists within each and everyone of us, the power of Creation itself. The Light will help to transmute the pain of the shadow self and bring hope, faith and renewed strength. It is a reminder that ‘we are the ones that we have been waiting for’, and that each and everyone of us has the power from within to make an impact within the world, and be the change.
You just have the LOVE yourself enough to be that change. Looking at the numerology of the 29 November 2013, it adds to the number ‘10’, the two binary digits of the masculine (1) and the feminine (0), coming together in harmony and oneness.
Sharing with you these photos taken by the Spitzer Space Telescope observing Comet ISON for 24 hours period on June 13, 2013. Its processed imagery indicates that carbon dioxide and dust are spewing out of the comet at high rate.
At the time, Comet ISON was about 312 million miles (502 million kilometers) from the Sun, 3.35 times farther than Earth.
More details about Comet ISON coming soon….
